In a significant security operation, Polish authorities have detained 32 individuals accused of orchestrating sabotage efforts in collaboration with Russia. This information was confirmed by Polish news agency PAP on Tuesday.
The detainees, consisting of a Pole, Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, and one Colombian, are implicated in acts of destruction allegedly directed by Russian operatives. Notably, the 27-year-old Colombian is charged with arson attacks on two construction warehouses in May, with such acts reportedly instructed by Russian intelligence.
While one suspect has been convicted, others remain in custody, awaiting trial. Further specifics about the sabotage attempts or the individuals involved are being withheld pending ongoing investigations.
