Schoolgirl Abduction Sparks Outrage in Ranchi

A schoolgirl from Ranchi's Chutia area was reportedly abducted during her commute to school in an e-rickshaw on Wednesday morning. The alarming incident has prompted police to launch a full-scale investigation.

Ranchi City Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Kumar V Raman, confirmed the alleged kidnapping from the Chutia police station area and indicated that verification and further actions are underway.

According to eyewitness accounts, while the girl was traveling to school, a group of youths intercepted the battery-operated rickshaw, forcibly transferring her into their car before speeding away. Authorities are now working to gather more information and bring those responsible to justice.
