Duo Nabbed for High-Profile Camera Theft in Mumbai
The MBVV police arrested two men accused of stealing a video camera and other equipment worth Rs 11 lakh. The suspects used false names to hire the equipment, then fled with it. Officials recovered the stolen items from the accused in Navi Mumbai following extensive investigation and analysis of CCTV footage.

The Mira Bhayandar Vasai Virar (MBVV) police have apprehended two individuals for allegedly stealing high-value shooting equipment. The equipment was reported to have been hired under false identities before being taken by the suspects, identified as Rudra Koli and Vivek Singh.
The crime branch Unit-3 successfully traced the stolen video camera and other items, valued at Rs 11 lakh, to Navi Mumbai. The apprehension followed extensive analysis of CCTV footage across various locales, such as Bhiwandi and Thane.
The complainant detailed how the accused had absconded with the equipment while he was lured away briefly during a shooting trip. The investigation also uncovered the use of a car with a fake number plate.
