In a significant boost to the state's police force, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will distribute appointment letters to 1,494 selected youths this Sunday, officials have announced. The recruitment drive encompasses 1,374 assistant operators and 120 workshop staff within the Uttar Pradesh Police Telecommunication Department.
This latest wave of appointments follows the earlier recruitment of 60,244 constables, reinforcing the state's commitment to strengthening law enforcement capabilities. The move is aligned with the objectives of Mission Rozgar, an initiative focused on large-scale job creation.
To date, the Uttar Pradesh government has facilitated the creation of over 8.5 lakh government jobs, 3.75 lakh contractual roles, and more than two crore employment opportunities across the private sector and MSMEs, the official statement highlighted.
