The West Bengal STF, acting on a tip-off, executed a raid in the Tehatta area alongside local police on Saturday night, resulting in the arrest of 60-year-old Mohammed Hashem Mallik, also known as Hashem Ali Mallik, who is sought for multiple criminal offenses in Bangladesh, an official confirmed.

An investigation was launched following a complaint by Sub-Inspector Mohammed Abdun Noor Chowdhury of the Special Task Force.
