In response to the severe flooding in Sawai Madhopur district, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma conducted an aerial survey on Monday to evaluate the extent of the damage. The flood-like situation resulted from relentless heavy rainfall that has been inundating the region.

During the survey, Sharma flew over severely affected areas such as Chakeri, Jadawata, Ajanoti, Mainpura, Dhanauli, and Surwal villages, and paid particular attention to the damaged Bodal culvert in Khandar. Upon landing at Chakchainpura airstrip, he engaged with the local populace to provide reassurance and gather firsthand accounts of their adversity.

The Chief Minister reiterated the administration's commitment to deliver prompt relief and rehabilitation measures. He instructed officials to remain vigilant and ensure that resources like food, medical supplies, and essentials reach those in need promptly while safeguarding against future risks.
