In the early hours of Tuesday, the Israeli military successfully intercepted a missile launched from Yemen. This action followed the blaring of air raid sirens in several regions of Israel.
The Houthi group, aligned with Iran and controlling major parts of Yemen, has been targeting Israel, describing their assaults as acts of solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
While the majority of the launched missiles and drones have either been intercepted or failed to hit targets, the situation has led to a series of counterattacks by Israel.
