Two minors have been apprehended for allegedly using hypnosis to rob a 17-year-old girl of her gold jewellery in Delhi's Sultanpuri area, police reported on Friday.

The incident unfolded on August 3 near the Pooth Kalan bus stand, where the suspects approached the victim, hypnotizing her into surrendering her earrings, locket, and chain.

Subsequent police investigations involved scanning CCTV footage and utilizing local informants, which led to identifying the suspects, aged 16 and 17. A raid in Sultanpuri C Block resulted in the capture of one suspect and the recovery of a gold locket. Further operations led to the arrest of his accomplice in D Block as efforts to retrieve the remaining jewellery continue.
