A fatal road accident in West Delhi's Moti Nagar area resulted in the tragic death of a 40-year-old motorcyclist named Bhikshu Lal, police confirmed on Saturday.

The incident occurred late Friday night when a Thar SUV, driven by Amarinder Singh Sodhi, crashed into Lal's motorcycle near Sudarshan Park before also hitting a truck. According to a senior police officer, Sodhi abandoned the SUV and fled the scene.

An investigation is underway to apprehend the accused, as multiple police teams scan CCTV footage for clues. Authorities report the vehicle is registered to Sodhi, who was driving at the time of the accident. This is the latest in a series of rash driving incidents involving Thar SUVs in the region.
