A horrific incident unfolded in Narsinghpur district, Madhya Pradesh, where an 18-year-old former student, Suryansh Kochar, allegedly set a guest teacher on fire over a supposed love affair, according to police reports.
The teacher, aged 26, sustained 25 percent burn injuries and was immediately referred to Jabalpur Medical College for advanced treatment. Authorities indicated that the tragic event shocked everyone at Utkrisht School, where she had recently been employed.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Sandeep Bhuria confirmed Kochar's arrest and the registration of a case. Investigations are ongoing, with actions pending based on the statements collected during the inquiry.
