Union Home Minister Amit Shah has unveiled three transformative criminal laws designed to simplify and expedite India's justice system. Speaking at an exhibition in Haryana's Kurukshetra, Shah assured that by 2026, the disposal of FIRs would average three years, addressing long-standing concerns about judicial delays.

Highlighting the new laws—Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam—Shah emphasized their potential to double conviction rates and quoted impressive figures from the first year of their implementation. In Haryana, chargesheets in 83% of cases were filed within 90 days, reflecting the legislation's impact.

Amit Shah's address also touched on the broader success of his party in Haryana, crediting the residents' faith in the BJP's governance for their third consecutive electoral victory. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to leaving no stone unturned in the state's development.
