Duo Arrested in Bilaspur with 57.5 Grams of Chitta
Two men, Ashish Thakur and Pal Singh, were caught with 57.5 grams of chitta, a form of heroin, in Bilaspur. Police seized the drugs from them during a routine check and charged the duo under the NDPS Act. They are in police remand until Tuesday.

In a significant drug bust, Bilaspur Police arrested two individuals found with 57.5 grams of chitta, a type of adulterated heroin, officials announced on Monday.
The suspects, identified as Ashish Thakur, known by the alias Happy, and Pal Singh, were intercepted on the Pandoh-Harlog Road during a routine police check while riding a motorcycle.
Charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, they were taken into custody, and a local court has granted police remand until Tuesday, according to Superintendent of Police Sandeep Dhawal.
