Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh paid tribute to fallen police personnel during a solemn ceremony held on Police Commemoration Day. He highlighted the bravery and sacrifice of officers who laid down their lives in the line of duty.

Adityanath assured continued government support for the families of the martyrs, revealing that financial assistance of Rs 30.70 crore has been allocated to dependents of 96 police personnel who died serving the nation. Among the fallen were three officers from Uttar Pradesh, showcasing the state's loss and their commendable service.

The Chief Minister also praised the exemplary discipline and dedication of the force, particularly during events like the Prayagraj Mahakumbh. The Director General of Police emphasized the force's commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against crime, signaling ongoing efforts to maintain peace and security in the state.
