A fire erupted at a building near gate number 31 of Rashtrapati Bhawan on Tuesday afternoon, prompting a swift response from the Delhi Fire Services. Authorities dispatched five fire tenders to manage the situation.
According to officials, the fire broke out at 1:51 pm in domestic articles on the ground floor of a two-storey building, specifically flat number 19 at Narmada Apartments. The blaze was contained by 2:15 pm, just 20 minutes after the emergency call was received.
Fortunately, no injuries were recorded. Authorities informed the police, who have commenced an investigation to determine the fire's cause. A police team was also sent to inspect the premises thoroughly.
