A tragic accident unfolded in Amethi as the body of a 22-year-old man, Shivam Hela, was discovered in a drain near Sewai Tiraha. The incident came to light on Tuesday, with police revealing the victim's identification as a resident of Sewai village.

Musafirkhana SHO Vivek Singh reported that Shivam had left home late the previous night on his motorcycle. Preliminary investigations indicate that the young man's bike lost control, collided with an electric pole, and subsequently plunged into the drain, leading to his untimely demise.

The deceased's body has been transported for a post-mortem examination, and authorities are diligently completing further legal procedures. The exact cause of death will be ascertained upon receipt of the autopsy results, according to SHO Singh.
