In a late-night incident that has sparked an intensive investigation, two men sustained serious injuries when their motorcycle was struck by a Mercedes in West Delhi's bustling Rajouri Garden.
Happening near the Mehta Chowk traffic signal at around 12:34 AM, the collision left Md Sufiyan and Md Azam with fractures in their legs. Both are currently receiving treatment while the police work to unravel the events leading up to the crash.
A senior police official confirmed that details of the Mercedes have been obtained, and a case has been registered under section 281 for rash driving and section 125(A) for acts endangering life. Authorities have seized both vehicles, and the Mobile Crime Team has collected crucial evidence from the site.
