A Delhi court has reached a verdict in an attempted murder case, convicting a man named Ravi. The judgment came after the prosecution successfully demonstrated clear evidence of Ravi's actions.
The case was overseen by Principal District and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna, who cited compelling evidence, including the recovery of the weapon bearing the victim's blood stains. Ravi had assaulted his client, Dr. Padam Singh, with an axe.
This incident occurred in 2023, stemming from a dispute over incomplete construction work. Despite the injuries being classified as simple, the court emphasized the dangerous nature of the weapon and the intent to inflict significant harm. Sentencing arguments are scheduled for October 29.
