An incident involving a gau rakshak being shot has unsettled the community in Telangana near Ghatkesar. The man, identified as Sonu, was reportedly shot at while allegedly attempting to halt cow transportation. The situation is under police examination, with suspects already detained.

The Telangana BJP, in an official statement, expressed outrage over the attack on Sonu, alias Prashant. Party president N Ramchander Rao visited Sonu at the hospital and vocally condemned the violence, urging the state government for immediate stringent measures against the perpetrators.

Police investigations are ongoing, with the attack happening around Pocharam IT Corridor limits. Initial reports suggest that Sonu was lured by a group and subsequently targeted. Authorities have assured that the accused are in custody and that an in-depth probe is in progress.
