Tragedy at Green Line Lodge: A Chilling Murder Unfolds

A man named Joby George was arrested in connection with the murder of a woman, Asmitha, found dead in a lodge at Attingal. The two had checked in as a couple; when they didn't emerge the next day, police discovered Asmitha's lifeless body. George was apprehended on Thursday.

In a chilling incident at Attingal's Green Line Lodge, a 38-year-old man has been taken into custody in connection with the murder of a woman. The police disclosed that Joby George, from Puthuppally in Kottayam, was the suspect in this shocking crime.

The victim, Asmitha, aged 40 from Kozhikode, was discovered dead in the lodge room on Wednesday morning. The police reported that George had checked in with her, presenting her as his wife the night before. Suspicion arose when the couple failed to exit the room the following morning.

Upon forcibly entering the room in the presence of authorities, Asmitha was found dead with injuries to her head and arms. George was located in Kozhikode on Thursday morning after a search effort involving the cyber cell. He was detained and has since been remanded in custody, while the victim's body was released to her family post-autopsy.
