Confident in the investigation's progress, Prasanth remarked on the board's expectation for the offenders to be brought to justice.

Discussing the matter on a television channel, Prasanth relayed how former administrative officer B Murari Babu intended to hand over the temple's gold-plated copper claddings for re-plating. The beneficiary, Bengaluru-based businessman Unnikrishnan Potty, had issued a warranty after previously completing similar work in 2019.

The situation has escalated, particularly with Babu's recent suspension and arrest. Meanwhile, Prasanth defended the board against accusations, challenged critics to reveal their own financial standings, and urged clarity in the ongoing judicial proceedings concerning the temple's gold discrepancies.
