A tragic collision in Chhattisgarh's Bemetara city has left one man dead and seven others injured after a speeding SUV rammed into a mini goods vehicle carrying passengers on Sunday night, authorities reported.
The alleged SUV driver, 19-year-old Mehar Singh Saluja, son of a local businessman, attempted to flee the scene, causing further chaos and injury along the way. He was apprehended later after locals vandalized his residence and parked vehicles in demand for justice.
