Daring Heist: Family Assaulted in Goa as Robbers Escape with Gold

In a brazen heist on Tuesday, a family in Vasco, Goa, was brutally assaulted and robbed of gold ornaments and cash by a gang of armed men. The incident took place in the early hours, leaving the local community in shock.
According to Superintendent of Police (South) Tikam Singh Verma, the seven men, disguised in masks and helmets, broke into Sagar Nayak's seventh-floor flat by cutting the window grills. Verma indicated that the robbers possibly hail from outside the state.
The attackers inflicted injuries on Nayak, his family, and his elderly mother before fleeing with valuables. Authorities have launched a rigorous manhunt to apprehend the suspects, while Nayak receives medical care at a nearby government facility.
