Daring Nighttime Police Encounter Leads to Capture in Cattle Slaughter Case

A suspect in a high-profile cattle slaughter case was captured following a tense nighttime confrontation with law enforcement, police reported Tuesday.

Superintendent of Police Sagar Jain revealed that during routine checks near Badgaon late Monday, officers intercepted a vehicle suspected of transporting cattle for slaughter, triggering a shootout.

The police succeeded in injuring and apprehending Fazil, a known offender from Charho village with multiple warrants. Weapons and cattle were seized from the scene, while efforts to locate his accomplice are ongoing.
