In a significant milestone for India's internal security, the BJP termed the elimination of leading Maoist commander Madvi Hidma as a 'historic victory.' This marks a pivotal moment in the Modi government's ongoing battle against Naxalism.
Hidma, a key figure behind several major attacks, was killed alongside five other Maoists in Andhra Pradesh's Alluri Sitaramaraju district. The Chhattisgarh police heralded his death as the 'last nail in the coffin' for the Left-wing insurgency.
