Major Judge and Magistrate Reshuffle in Delhi District Courts

A significant transfer has taken place in Delhi district courts with 16 judges and 43 magistrates being reassigned. This reshuffle, issued by the Delhi High Court's registrar general, includes changes in special CBI, POCSO, and Negotiable Instruments courts, reflecting a broad judicial restructuring.

In a notable reshuffle across Delhi district courts, 16 judges and 43 magistrates faced relocation on Tuesday. This move, orchestrated by the Delhi High Court, aims at rejuvenating judicial functions.

The registrar general of the Delhi High Court announced two comprehensive transfer orders 'with immediate effect'. These directives involve judges from both the Delhi Higher Judicial Services and the Judicial Magistrate First Class within the Delhi Judicial Services.

Among those reassigned are two judges from special CBI courts and three from courts dealing with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO). Furthermore, over 30 magistrates from Negotiable Instruments digital courts, focusing on cheque bounce cases, were also transferred.
