Delhi High Court Headlines: Key Cases in Spotlight

The Delhi High Court is set to hear on November 21 a petition by Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra. Moitra challenges a Lokpal order that permitted the CBI to file a chargesheet against her in an alleged cash for query scandal.
In another case, the high court has demanded a response from the central government and police concerning a plea by Manjinder Singh Sirsa. Sirsa seeks the revelation of a police officer's report supposedly indicating Congress leader Kamal Nath's presence during the 1984 Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib riots.
The court also instructed police to update it on the progress of ongoing investigations related to the 2020 Delhi riots. Moreover, it pressed the Federation of Indian Pilots (FIP) to demonstrate compliance failure by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation concerning newly approved flight duty time regulations.
