Bengaluru Drug Bust Nets 19 Arrests, Rs 7.7 Crore in Narcotics Seized

Bengaluru police have arrested 19 individuals, including 14 foreign nationals, and seized narcotics worth Rs 7.7 crore. The Central Crime Branch conducted multiple raids, recovering MDMA crystals and Hydro Ganja. Operations spanned areas such as Suddagunte, Mahadevapura, and Varthur with significant drug peddling activities disrupted.

Bengaluru's fight against narcotics led to the arrest of 19 individuals, 14 of whom are foreign nationals, with a massive drug seizure valued at approximately Rs 7.7 crore. The police's Central Crime Branch spearheaded the operations, which have sent ripples through the city's underworld.

Coordinated raids across Bengaluru uncovered an alarming amount of banned substances, with 2.804 kg of MDMA crystals and 2.1 kg of hydro-ganja confiscated. In a significant operation in Suddagunte, a Nigerian woman was apprehended with substantial quantities of MDMA.

Further raids in Mahadevapura and Varthur resulted in more arrests and drug seizures, disrupting major drug peddling networks involving foreign nationals. The police are actively working to trace absconding suspects involved in this illicit trade.
