In a dramatic police operation, three people, including a police constable, have been apprehended in connection with a significant robbery amounting to Rs 7.11 crore in Bengaluru, announced Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh on Saturday.

Singh revealed that Rs 5.76 crore has been recovered up to now, and efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining amount. A massive operation involving eleven teams and 200 officers, including interrogations of over 30 individuals, led to the three arrests.

Six specialized teams were dispatched across southern states and Goa to trace the culprits in this meticulously planned heist. The robbery involved men allegedly posing as RBI officials, intercepting a cash van and absconding with nearly Rs seven crore.
