Kerala Chief Electoral Officer Ratan U Kelkar emphasized that Booth Level Officers are receiving necessary assistance to efficiently conduct the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll without facing undue pressure.
Addressing the media, Kelkar clarified that targets for these officers are not meant to stress but to ensure completion within deadlines, and district collectors have been instructed to fully support their efforts.
In border areas with linguistic diversity, officials skilled in Kannada and Tamil are aiding the process. Additionally, coordination with NORKA Roots seeks to increase SIR awareness among non-resident Keralites.
