Massive Drug Bust in Delhi-NCR: 10 Arrested

Ten alleged drug peddlers, including three foreign nationals, were nabbed and narcotics worth Rs 12 crore were seized in coordinated raids across Delhi-NCR. This operation was a joint effort by Telangana and Delhi Police with the Narcotics Control Bureau. Forty foreign nationals linked to the network are under detention.

In a significant drug bust, authorities arrested ten alleged drug peddlers, including three foreign nationals, and seized narcotics valued at Rs 12 crore in a coordinated effort across Delhi-NCR. The operation, spanning the last 24 hours, was announced by the police on Friday.

Led by the Telangana and Delhi Police with coordination from the Narcotics Control Bureau, this joint operation marks a crucial point in the fight against narcotics. Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Surender Kumar highlighted the efforts during a press conference, noting the cooperation between agencies.

The operation's roots trace back to a drug module uncovered in Hyderabad three months ago, which utilized courier services for narcotics transport. Further investigations revealed the drugs' origins in Delhi, prompting multiple raids and the subsequent arrests. Deportation proceedings are also underway for forty foreign nationals linked to this case.
