The Delhi Police have made a significant breakthrough by arresting Bandhu Maan Singh Sekhon, an alleged key conspirator in multiple shooting incidents at Kapil Sharma's restaurant in Canada. The arrest took place on November 25 in Punjab's Ludhiana, confirming Sekhon's involvement with the notorious Goldy Dhillon gang.
Authorities recovered a high-end PX-3 semi-automatic pistol and eight live cartridges from Sekhon, who had been orchestrating logistical support and strategy for several attacks since July. The incidents were part of an intimidation tactic linked to an extortion scheme by overseas gang networks.
As Sekhon fled Canada amid intensified police actions, his ties with international arms trafficking came to the fore. His arrest marks a critical step in the ongoing investigation, shedding light on the intricate network between Indian and overseas criminal elements.
