A Delhi court has granted bail to nine protesters who were involved in a confrontation with police officers outside the Parliament Street police station. The bail was issued after the judicial magistrate reviewed their application.

In this particular case, nine out of 17 arrested protesters were granted bail on furnishing a bond of Rs 20,000. Despite this, several individuals will remain in detention due to their involvement in another case where pepper spray was used against police personnel.

The court had previously ordered four protesters to two-day police custody, while the remaining 13 were remanded to one-day judicial custody, underscoring the ongoing legal challenges facing the protesters.
