Following the incident on Friday night, the locals were alerted by the victims' screams and managed to put out the flames before contacting authorities. Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Khandelwal stated that after arriving at the scene, the police facilitated the victims' transfer to the hospital, where they are undergoing advanced care for 60-70 percent burns.
