Dilip Khedkar, father of former probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar, was questioned on Saturday at Rabale police station, Navi Mumbai, regarding a road rage and kidnapping case.

Previously granted anticipatory bail by the Bombay High Court, Khedkar was under obligation to cooperate with the investigation. Despite the Court's directive, Khedkar presented himself only after receiving a police notice. Speaking to reporters, Khedkar refuted allegations of kidnapping, claiming that the truck cleaner had willingly traveled with him to Pune.

According to the FIR, a minor road incident involving Khedkar's SUV led to an altercation with a truck driver and possible forced travel of the truck cleaner. While Khedkar disputes these details, his driver, Praful Salunkhe, has been arrested in connection with the case.
