Tensions escalated in Ghaziabad as the family of 25-year-old Vatan Rana vociferously protested what they allege to be a murder disguised as suicide. They gathered outside Nandgram police station, demanding that law enforcement address their concerns and file a murder case against three friends of the deceased.

The police maintain that preliminary and post-mortem findings confirm suicide. Speaking on the matter, ACP Nandgram Upasna Pandey outlined the difficulty in balancing investigative integrity with familial demands, while DCP Dhawal Jaiswal highlighted the need for exploring all possible angles to ensure justice.

Despite official findings, Vatan's family, led by his father, Rakesh Rana, steadfastly claim possession of murder evidence, insisting that charges be elevated from abetment of suicide to culpable homicide, as the community monitors developments in this perplexing case.
