Espionage Crackdown: Punjab Resident Nabbed for Spying
Prakash Singh, alias Badal from Punjab, has been arrested for allegedly gathering and passing classified Indian Army information to a Pakistani handler. The CID (Intelligence) in Rajasthan had been monitoring his activities, which involved collecting sensitive data and facilitating WhatsApp accounts for espionage purposes.

A Punjab resident, Prakash Singh alias Badal, was arrested by Rajasthan's CID (Intelligence) for allegedly gathering and transmitting classified Indian Army information to a Pakistani contact. Officials confirmed the arrest took place near a military site in Ganganagar.
Inspector General Prafful Kumar stated that Singh was being watched due to suspected espionage activity tied to Pakistani intelligence. Singh was found to be in contact with Pakistan's ISI via social media and was accumulating sensitive military information from regions like Rajasthan, Punjab, and Gujarat, passing it on to a handler.
Singh was linked to the ISI since Operation Sindoor, with evidence of his involvement in creating Indian WhatsApp accounts for Pakistan-based operatives. His devices were presented for technical analysis, confirming the charges. The investigation continues.
