Former Congress Candidate Pramod Sharma Arrested in Land Forgery Case

On Monday, police apprehended Pramod Sharma, a former Congress candidate from Jhalawar, over allegations of forging ownership documents related to a valuable land plot in the city, officials stated.
According to authorities, Sharma and his two associates attempted to unlawfully claim a plot measuring 27 ft by 20 ft near Ghadiya Mahadev Temple, with falsified documents. A forensics report confirmed the forgery.
Sharma, who contested the 2019 elections against Dushyant Singh, remains embroiled in multiple criminal cases and was hospitalized following his arrest due to health complaints, while his co-accused were remanded to police custody.
