The Maharashtra State Election Commission (SEC) has announced a revised timeline for finalizing voter lists for the state's 29 municipal corporations. Key dates include extending the final ward-wise list deadline to December 15, after considering objections.
Additionally, the publication deadline for polling stations and a comprehensive voter list by station has been pushed to December 20 and December 27, respectively.
The SEC urges municipal officials to coordinate with its computerisation cell for any technical issues during the list preparation process. The election date is still pending announcement.
