Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has reiterated the government's commitment to unbiased justice in the controversial Pune land deal case. The case involves a firm linked to Deputy CM Ajit Pawar's son, Parth Pawar. Fadnavis assured reporters that action would be taken against any wrongdoers following a thorough investigation.
Recently, the Bombay High Court expressed concern over the police's handling of the case. The court pointed out that Parth Pawar had not been named in the FIR, despite being a majority partner in the firm involved. Justice Madhav Jamdar questioned whether the police were shielding the Deputy CM's son while focusing on others.
Beyond the land deal, Fadnavis also addressed the rising concern over leopard attacks in Maharashtra. He revealed that the forest department is proactive in tackling the issue, capturing 22 leopards so far and planning for leopard rescue centers. These initiatives aim to address incidents in non-forest areas.
