In a tragic incident, three children aged between 11 and 15 years drowned in the Hasdeo river located in Chhattisgarh's Janjgir-Champa district. The bodies were recovered by a diligent team comprising the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and local police on Thursday morning.
The unfortunate incident came to light when the young boys, Nelson Lakra, Yuvraj Rathore, and Rudra Singh Raj, failed to return home after going for a swim post-school. The children's belongings were found along the riverbank at Tridev Ghat, prompting a massive search operation by worried family members and local authorities.
