An intelligence-based operation has successfully neutralized three terrorists linked to the proscribed terror outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan in the volatile Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, police reported on Sunday.

Carried out near the Pak-Afghan border in the Bajaur district, following intelligence on their presence, the operation cracked down on individuals involved in attacks against security forces and explosive device blasts.

Post-operation, a substantial stockpile of arms and ammunition was confiscated, indicating the magnitude of their subversive plans. This comes amidst a reported 25% rise in terrorist incidents in the region in 2025, according to CRSS.
