Tragedy Strikes Auto Parts Factory: Safety Concerns Emerge in Fatal Crane Accident

A devastating incident has unfolded at an auto parts manufacturing unit in Sibli, where two workers tragically lost their lives due to a crane hook failure. The accident also left two more laborers with severe injuries, prompting a wave of concern regarding safety measures at the facility.
According to Additional Commissioner of Police Amit Saxena, the mishap occurred late on Monday night as laborers were engaged in working on iron frames. At the scene, four workers were rushed to a nearby hospital, only for two to be declared dead upon arrival. The condition of the remaining two injured workers remains critical, intensifying scrutiny over workplace safety practices.
In response to this tragedy, bereaved families and relatives gathered at the factory, expressing outrage over alleged negligence in worker safety provisions. Accusations of inadequate safety kits sparked protests demanding the arrest of the factory owner, Saleem, and compensation for the victims' families. The police have initiated a probe, though no formal complaint has been filed yet.
