Cross-Border Escape: Pakistani Woman Held at LoC
A 35-year-old Pakistani woman, Shehnaz Akhtar, was apprehended by Indian Army troops after crossing into Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. Her crossing followed a dispute with her father in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Further investigations are underway, and she is yet to be handed over to the police.

In a dramatic cross-border incident, a 35-year-old Pakistani woman, Shehnaz Akhtar, was apprehended by Army troops after crossing into Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district along the Line of Control (LoC).
Officials revealed that Shehnaz, hailing from the Gimma area of Kotli district, fled her home following a heated argument with her father in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The arrest occurred in the Dabbi forward area within the Balakote sector on Tuesday. As of now, Akhtar remains in Army custody, pending transfer to local police for further investigation.
