Putin's Promise: Diplomatic or Military Path in Ukraine
President Vladimir Putin asserted Russia's goals in Ukraine would be achieved either through diplomatic or military channels. He emphasized a desire to establish a security buffer zone while accusing European leaders of inciting hysteria over a potential conflict with Russia. The ongoing war remains at a critical stage.
Russian President Vladimir Putin declared on Wednesday that Russia is determined to fulfill its objectives in Ukraine through either diplomatic efforts or military action. He emphasized the expansion of a 'security buffer zone' as a priority.
Putin reiterated Russia's openness to dialogue, stating, 'The goals of the special military operation will undoubtedly be achieved, preferably by diplomacy.' However, he warned of military measures if other sides fail to engage in serious discussions.
Russia's claims of territorial control in Ukraine include Crimea, most of the Donbas region, and significant portions of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia. Tensions remain as both sides vie for strategic advantages.
