The U.S. gaming giant Roblox has announced its readiness to alter specific features of its platform in Russia, aiming to overturn a recently imposed ban by Russian authorities.
The ban, initiated by the Russian communications watchdog Roskomnadzor, was primarily based on concerns regarding child safety within the virtual environment provided by Roblox.
In response, a spokesperson for Roblox stated that they have engaged in discussions with Roskomnadzor and are prepared to temporarily limit communication features and reassess their content moderation practices to meet legal standards required to reinstate the users' access in Russia.
