In Jharkhand's Palamu district, a shooting incident on Thursday resulted in two individuals being wounded, reportedly due to longstanding animosity. Police sources have confirmed this distressing event occurred in the Kandu Mohalla area.
The victims have been identified as Ajit Kumar Gupta, 52, who is stable, and Navin Prasad, 45, who has been critically injured and is being transferred to RIMS-Ranchi for advanced medical care.
A rigorous search for the suspect is underway, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajiv Ranjan. Preliminary evidence suggests the act was fueled by personal enmity.
