Addressing the annual event, the governor praised the monumental contributions of ex-servicemen. He highlighted their enduring role in nation-building and emphasized initiatives under Prime Minister Modi's government such as One Rank One Pension and the National War Memorial.

Governor Shukla also underscored the importance of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, stressing the growing indigenization in the defense sector and its promise of new opportunities for the youth. The event concluded with awards honoring distinguished contributions in various fields.
