The authorities at Iskcon Mayapur have issued a stern warning to devotees and tourists alike regarding fraudulent websites posing as official channels for accommodation bookings. These scams, capitalizing on the trust of faithful followers, have led to an FIR being filed to crack down on such deceptive practices.

Radharamn Das, the Vice President of Iskcon Kolkata, revealed that multiple fake websites and social media pages have been set up to offer rooms in notable Iskcon facilities like 'Prabhupad Village', 'Gada Bhavan', 'Conch Bhavan', and 'Gita Bhavan'. These sites appear professional and often lure victims with enticing discounts, particularly during peak festivals, only to vanish once payments are made.

The organization emphasizes that www.visitmayapur.com is the sole authorized portal for bookings and urges the public to exercise caution. Authorities are working with law enforcement to address the issue, while educating the public on verifying URLs and avoiding third-party agents or messaging-based booking systems.
