A young woman's death in the Narkeldanga area of Kolkata has raised suspicions, police revealed on Friday.

Puspa Kumari was discovered unresponsive at her Shibtala Lane residence and declared dead upon arrival at Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital (NRSMCH), a senior officer reported. Notably, doctors identified marks on her throat.

The police secured the scene, and a complaint by neighbor Bijanti Devi led to the registration of a murder case. Investigations are in progress to uncover the truth behind Puspa Kumari's enigmatic demise.
