Daring City Pursuit: Car Thieves Caught in Dramatic Police Chase

Three interstate vehicle thieves were captured after attempting to flee police in a stolen SUV with a fake plate. The suspects were intercepted in West Delhi, having used the car in numerous vehicle thefts. Two officers were injured in the chase, and further investigations are ongoing.

In a dramatic encounter, three interstate vehicle thieves were apprehended after a stolen SUV with a fake number plate nearly ran over police officers, injuring two, in West Delhi.

The SUV, a Kia Seltos, had been surveilled for its involvement in high-end car thefts across the city, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Darade Sharad Bhaskar stated.

The suspects, identified as Mashrur, Asif, and Aqeel from Uttar Pradesh, were caught after a police team, acting on detailed inputs, successfully intercepted the vehicle despite being injured during the pursuit.
